About the Opportunity

VeteranCann is now looking for a full-time Telehealth Medicinal Cannabis Nurse.

This role offers a flexibility of working from home (40 hours FTE, VIC time zone), reporting directly to the medical team, with the primary accountability of developing and managing individualised care plans for patients using medicinal cannabis.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans for patients with complex needs
• Collaborating with Medicinal Cannabis Doctors and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
• Delivering continuity of care and conducting risk assessments to set treatment goals
• Educating patients on medicinal cannabis use and medical devices
• Assisting with medication dosage adjustments and providing holistic care
• Triaging medical enquiries and offering compassionate, efficient medical advice
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and up-to-date records in compliance with legislation
• Engaging in professional development to stay abreast of best practices and standards

About You

To qualify, you will need a Registered Nurse (RN) certification with current AHPRA registration. 

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

• Experience with medicinal cannabis
• Chronic Disease Management
